At her side Black Cat lies in wait to hunt down a daredevil who succumb to its charm dare.

Welcome to the eve of Halloween.
It seems that I was a little under the spell of today’s heroines.
Yes, it is true, just her tasted. And what I saw and heard … pish! And my opinion from tasting I already present.
Black Wych is a porter from Wychwood Brewery decorated as usual with fantastic, stylish label.
For the production of this beer was used malts: pale, black, crystal and oats.
According to brewery’s website – in the brewing process they adds hops: Fuggles, Challenger and Progress (but apparently currently instead of Progress they adding Target hops).
Here’s how it presents and tastes.
Name: BLACK WYCH (Stout, 5,0% ABV)
|Black, impenetrable – a real black witch who only occasionally flashes red ruby hue.
Head beige, high, thick and medium-sized bubbles, quite quickly falls, leaving only leftovers.
|Wonderful aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, note of hops, a little plum and blackcurrant.|
|The taste of coffee and chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa.
Crisp bitter finish. Light smoky notes.
Carbonation rather weak, although nips at tongue a little.
Not much here sweetness, a typical dry stout.
Black Wych is a dry stout with a pleasant aroma and taste of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. A clear bitter aftertaste adds to its character.
Beer is not especially bodied, although drinking it with pleasure.
I run away to avoid the spell.
See you tomorrow.
